Bedbug Reviews

Stayed in the Best Western Plus in Zion crossroads from 04/11/19-04/20/19 around the 14th or 15th I noticed what seemed to be a spider bite on my thumb. After a day or two I realized I had been bitten all over my legs and arms. Upon going back after work on the 19th I searched for bugs and didn't find any. I woke up at 5am on the 20th and noticed what seemed to be a bug on the bed next to me, I took a photo and upon entering the bathroom to shower I then seen another bug on a towel and put that towel in the ice bucket with the lid in place. I returned to the hotel that morning when the manager came in which took her approximately 2 hours from the time I was contacted. She then made me wait another 20-30 minutes before even addressing me. We then went to her office where she refused to take any responsibility and treated me as a problem. She was rude and her behavior was that of a bully. She was a very nasty woman with a bad attitude especially for someone in her position. She told me at that time there hadn't been any issues in the past and hotel staff informed me she was saying I brought them in. I had so may bites and open wounds I had to see a physician because I've never dealt with this nor even seen a bed bug before. I was told they would clean my clothing and treat my belongings which they never did. I contacted the health dept first things Monday morning. And upon coming to work Monday and talking to other workers at the power plant I found another person who had the same problem on the 15th which was reported BEFORE my incident and when I conf her about it she denied it. Also, when I returned on Saturday to meet with the manager before she had gotten there the head house keeper and 2 other staff members told me that this had been an issue in the past and that she was not going to do anything about the situation and they were exactly right. The way she handled the situation and the way she treated me was appalling and then giving my things back untreated when I was todm they were have put me and the hotel I'm now staying at in danger of spreading them. I did leave the bags closed and had to take them to bw cleaned myself. I am down here working and I asked if I would be reimbursed for the clothing I had to purchase to he able to work until my clothing was ready for me and she refused and she also refused to pay for my immediate care visit citing the bugs somehow came from Bear Garden generating station and that her hotel did not have these bugs which I was able to be to not only be false but something she was well aware of. She also told me her bug professional had checked my bags when I asked her to replace them so I dont carry these home with me and he reported no evidence of them in my bags which I would think had I brought them they most certainly would.
