Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

July 31st 2020 1am. Woke up to my ear forehead and scalp burning. I already knew when I woke up it was immediately bed bugs having gone thru the same issue 10 years prior. I jumped out of bed and noticed my arms were covered in bumps. I turned on light on my phone and saw one crawling on my pillow and another crawling in my sheet. went to front desk and immediately was given another room. I wake my kids up and they were already awake crying and scratching and covered in blood and bumps all over. was given that night free and $6 to wash my clothes with a $25 food certificate to their restaurant.

After spending one night 9/21 in holiday inn, we spotted a big fat bug on a pillow in the morning. Thinking it was a roach, squashed it but it was full of blood so looked up how bed bugs look and it was that bug. Did a through search and found another bug on the mattress. The walls had lots of small blood stains. Gave both bugs to manager, who told us that we could go to another holiday inn but they would not honor the rate we got. We decided to go to another hotel.
