We checked in on April 27th after 10 pm. Got up next morning after 7 am to see about the continental breakfast noticed that there was small amount of blood on sheets. After checking to see where it came from thinking a small scratch or something on our own body didn’t find anything. Then noticed a small like seed shape brown bug crawling. Immediately figured he’d bugs. Took a video to front desk and was told we couldn't be refunded for the stay we were offered 40 bucks. We came home and followed up with Microtel corporate office to be told noting much would be done and to a week later to notice the bugs bit my fiancé she was thinking we has a spider at home we didn’t know it took days for the bites to show up itch like crazy which have now caused bruises and marks on her arms she is still healing 2 weeks later. Not to mention she now has a fear of staying in any hotel regardless of the upscaleness. I also will always remember the distinct musty smell the room had and the filthy carpet. We stayed despite due to traveling late for a family emergency.
