Checked in on Friday, Feb 24, 2017, in the afternoon. I checked for bedbugs as soon as we got in the room. Didn't see any, but room was filthy around baseboard area. The sheets had stains of some sort on them. I had brought my blacklight from home and was also using that to look for hidden filth. Outlet cover by bed was barely on, and I had my husband plug my charger in. Got ready to go to concert at Winstar and had to be there by 7:30p, so we must have left room around 6:45p. We came back to room around 2:00a on Feb 25. 2017. My husband was tired so he went ahead and got in bed and went to sleep. I was sitting on edge of bed reading and noticed something crawling on bed. It was a bug so I tried to smash it three times and then I finally got it and blood came out of the bug onto the sheets. It was an adult bedbug. I woke my husband and told him to get out of the bed. I saved the bug in a baggy. I called the front desk to report and told the lady that answered the phone what had happened. I offered to show her the bug and she said no I didn't need to do that. Since we reserved the room through a third party, she said I would have to call that company for a refund. She said she would offer me another room, but that they were full. I told her even if they had another room, I wouldn't want it. She was pleasant and seemed concerned and never acted rude. She said the manager wasn't in, but to call back in the morning or first thing Monday and ask to speak to manager. I told her we were going to pack and go home. I called her at approximately 4:00a, and told her we were out of the room and that we left the 2 cards we were given to get in and out of room, in the room. We also left two pillows with pillow cases on that we brought from home in the room. We put all of our things that were in the room in the back of our pickup, and drove home. Not sure that I will ever stay in a motel again. We have kept all personal things that were taken into the room out of our home. We are slowly bringing clothes in to first soak in hot water, and then to wash and dry. The relaxing mini vacation turned into a very stressful mini vacation. Beware.
