Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

February 2015 awoke to multiple bites on legs, neck and face. Swelled up to size of golf balls. They searched room and claimed they found "no bed bugs". Changed rooms. Missed a week of work, two ER visits, biopsy (confirmed bed bug bites), scarring, and medication. Had itching and oozing welts for more than two weeks. Dermatologist said it was the worst reaction he as ever seen in 20 years. Said they will not compensate me because they found no evidence. Am in the process of suing.

Woke up to intense itching on my right thigh and right arm Went to the bathroom and had 4 bites on my thigh and 3 on my arm. My husband pulled out the sheets,and saw the bedbug. We put it in an empty contact case and took it to the manager while also checking out.

On 1/14/2020 we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento in room 838. We awoke and found we had been bit by bed bugs. Reported the incident to the front desk and it didn’t seem like a big deal? We called Hyatt Gold Passport and opened a case. Take action and take pictures! We are following up with the urgent care for the bites.
