Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Located in the heart of Downtown Columbus, and is across from the State Capitol Building. Hyatt on Capitol Square is also within walking distance of the Arena District, Short North, Brewery District and German Village which offer dining, entertainment, and reactional options. We are 8 miles from Port Columbus Airport and within 2 hours driving distance of Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Dayton. The Ohio State University is approximately a 5 minute drive.

4/11/2023- bed bugs was crawling under sheet as I came in the room at 10:28, I took a picture at 10:29. I went down to the front desk and the lady pulled me to the side and tried to tell me that it isn't a bed bug and that it's a bug that "comes out of the pipes" and is in the "same family as bedbugs". She stated they would sweep my room. I came back up the conference I'm attending and they had changed the bed but nothing else was done. I sent the picture of the bug to an exterminator and also sent one to a bedbug specialist who owns a moving and storage company and has a special storage for quarantining household items that have been exposed to an investation of bed bugs. BOTH verified that this is a bed bug. I will not be staying here.
