Room 515, ( I couldn't remember the room but this was on my receipt--just don't get a room next to the laundry room) Absolutely Horrible experience and even worse was after checking out, going to the airport to fly home, the manager called me on my cell phone, jokingly and stated "I understand that you encountered one of our stinkbugs, blah, blah, blah". I'm also a federal certified housing inspector, I work for HUD! Yes the hotel comped my room, but that wasn't the point. Clean your hotel. How did I discover it? First I have a process of checking beds, corners, using a black light before actually settling in. I'd done my room check and while working on my laptop and I saw a spot on the wall near the door. Was it a chocolate spot or maybe a stain? I wasn't too concerned until the spot moved. I'm a Floridian and this was December so I had the heat cranked as high as technically possible. Thank the Lord for that. I took pictures and still was not certain what it was because I didn't want to get close. I went to the front desk and moved to another room, but also went off because I expect better.
