Booked a hotel for 3 nights 6/1/22 to go to the parks in Orlando. Checked in and went to sleep early. Boyfriend woke up at 5:00 am itching in his legs. Got up and inspected. Found traces of bed bugs and informed the staff. Asked for guidance from staff and they were dismissive. Boyfriend’s legs were severely bitten couldn’t enjoy the parks due to pain and itching from bites. Asked management for assistance in fear to bring an infestation home with luggage and encountered resistance and rudeness over the phone. We were asked to leave and had to book another hotel while at the park. Once arrived asked for refund on the last night as had to stay somewhere else and they just called the police and shorted us out of the facility. This hotel is the worst, the general manager “Mr. Jay” cursed out boyfriend and told the police since we didn’t get a discount we were mad. We just wanted some humanity, some guidance on what to do since we got infected in their hotel room.
