We checked in the hotel on 04/04/18 and left on 04/08/18. My husband was the only person to sleep on the sofa bed and he woke up the first morning with an itchy hand, however, there were no bumps or signs of bites. Two days later (our last day there), he began to notice bumps on his hands, arms, back, and face. We decided to leave around 3 am because we were unable to sleep. I planned to explain the situation to the front desk prior to leaving, however, the office was not open until well after we left. I called to complain the day after we arrived home and was told the best they could do was refund one night stay because we did not complain before leaving. The place was understaffed and it took 2 hours just to get sheets (which we had to eventually go pick up ourselves). Because bed bug bites can take several days to show up, we did not know he was infected until it was time to go home. He had to miss a day of work to go to the doctor, and it was confirmed 100% that he had bed bug bites. The hotel insists the room was checked and suggested it was sand fleas. He has no bites on his feet, ankles, or legs....so it was not fleas. This place is terrible!
