Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Found six bed bugs. Hotel staff moved me to a different room. A thorough check did not find any bed bugs in the new room. The next day the manager said they could not find any bed bugs in the old room and had an inspection scheduled for later that day. The manager had no interest in looking at the pictures I had taken the night before. Hampton policy is if you are not 100% satisfied, the room is free. The manager said they would only refund the one night stay if they got a report that found bed bugs.

1. Feb 3, 2017 @ 11:00 AM 2. Once bed bugs were found the manager came up to our room. He said that he would get the room checked out on Monday if bugs were found we would get a refund. Once he left we found more bed bugs on the mattress and called him back. Once shown the bugs he was very nice and considerate. He refunded us our room fee and shut the room down. Overall he was very respectful and nice. Room was great besides finding the bed bugs.

7/14/2023 Found bed bugs. The first person at the desk acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Talked to the assistant manager when they arrived and was moved to a different room.
