I was woke up around 6:11 am to find multiple bed bug bites on the back of my left arm near the shoulder. I searched the sheet to find a baby bed bug trying to run towards the headboard. My husband killed it and there was blood smeared on the sheets. When i came downstairs around to tell the front desk before leaving for work the front desk lady wanted to give my boss lady run arounds. My boss lady tried to have everything resolved and get the rooms switched with no issues since she paid for the room but the front desk lady wanted to do a lot so ultimately my boss lady said don’t worry about it we have to get to work. The front desk lady goes up to the room and tells my husband he has to exit in order for her to inspect the room. Next thing you know she’s threatening to call the police if my husband isn’t out of the room by 11 because my boss lady didn’t want him to sign whatever form the front desk lady was talking about. Now the front desk lady is saying I need to go to the hospital and get checked out to make sure that they were bed bug bites. She also stated that she would get pest control to come inspect and give a refund for today and if they were able to find something then she would refund for the night we stayed. I’ve called the city and that room will be getting shut down as well as further steps will be taken on course of action.
