Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

June 25th, 2021 (Friday night) checked into Comfort Inn Paw Paw Mi. We were given a second floor room. Husband and I checked the beds and found dead adult bedbugs and live youth. Went downstairs to front worker and explained. She never said one word to us. I went outside to contact neighboring hotels-all booked due to a live event at winery this weekend. Went back and after about 20 minutes-worker transferred us to first floor room 153-again never saying one word to us. We checked beds and didn't see any bugs, but spent a horrible night checking again and again. I contacted management by email upon returning home requesting a refund and their response was well we hope you'll come back and avoided my request. Room almost $200 per night and that's the service you get.
