On September 20, 2016 my sister and I arrived at this hotel, where I would be staying until Friday, September 23, 2016 for a bone marrow harvest donation. The night of September 20, 2016 my sister was constantly complaining of severe itching, at which time we assumed was due to the hotel soap. This morning (September 22, 2016) both me and my sister were awakened by a sensation similar to something crawling on our skin. We immediately turned on the lights at which time we could visibly see bed bugs crawling on the beds and our persons. We contacted the front desk whom sent up security to verify the bedbugs. The front desk person told us the hotel was ALL BOOKED, but was working to see what she could do. The security guard captured 2 bed bugs in a clear cup and took them down to the front desk. The front desk called to the room offering to have the bed linens changed, while still on the phone we witnessed several more bedbugs crawling on the bed! At which time we were able to capture 2 bedbugs in a ziplock bag for proof and presented it to the front desk; now we have verified a total of 4 bedbugs. We went down to the front desk at which time she was still trying to find another room for us, but she reassured us that they were totally booked up and could only send us to another hotel. The shuttle does not start operating until 7am, and we were told that we could walk 1 mile to the other hotel. I had my bone marrow donation on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 and I should not be doing much walking, pushing, pulling, or carrying. After telling her that she attempted to contact the General Manager with all failed attempts. There still has been no remedy to our solution as of 6.30am on Thursday September 22, 2016.

My sister (Tiny) and I arrived at this hotel on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 the overall clean cleanliness of the hotel was good. We were put in room 217, my sister complained all night that she was itching, but we thought it was due to dry skin from the hotel soap. On Wednesday, September 21, 2016 I donated bone marrow at Georgetown University Hospital. After returning back to the hotel to be confined to bed rest, my sister and I both woke up around 3:30a.m (Thursday, September 22, 2016) to what felt as if I was being bitten. She immediately turned on the lights and pulled back the covers and we saw the bedbugs crawling on the beds, pillows, and from under the sheets. The bedbugs were photographed, videoed, and we captured bedbugs in a ziplock bag for evidence. We contacted the front desk and spoke with Connie who said she would send up the security person. The security guard came into the room and captured 2 bedbugs in a clear plastic cup to take to the front desk. The front desk person, Connie called back to the room asking if they could change the bed linens. We refused that, because we know that would not remedy the problem. We both went down to the front desk at approximately 4:30a.m. at which time we asked to be moved to another room, they informed us that they were all booked up. She attempted to contact the General Manager, Wayne; whom did not answer the calls. Upon the arrival of the Front of House Manager, Bryan he was sitting in the office not acknowledging our issues, so we asked to speak with him. He told us that the hotel would attempt to move us to another room, but they did not have any available at that time. Bryan(Front Manager) told us that we could eat breakfast on the hotel until they work out a room arrangement for us, we told them that wasn't anything accommodating as our stay and food was already paid for until Friday. After eating breakfast which was horrible, Bryan had a room ready for us to transfer to at 8:45a.m (nearly 5 hours after reporting issue). We were offered to have all out clothing dry cleaned, which we accepted but left me without any clothing and I could only wear sweat pants or lounge pants due to having surgery the day before. We asked if the hotel could accommodate me with petty cash to purchase clothing due to not having any from their negligence, I was told they could NOT do that from Bryan. At this time we contacted corporate to file a complaint, within the hour the Assistant General Manager Wayne was waiting on us at the front desk. He invited us into his office, we explained the details of the bedbug issue and we were told that this infestation was the worst ever seen at this hotel and the exterminators confirmed that the bedbugs had been in this room (217) for well over a week. My sister was bitten a total of 10 times, which was document via photo.

March 6,2016 Checked in, went for a walk. Came back and lay on the bed and flipped down the covers and lo and behold a bed bed just hanging out on the bed. It wasn't even night. Staying here with our two toddlers I freaked out and checked out immediately.
