On October 19, 2017 I checked in to the Holiday Inn plainview. The room was decently clean except the bathroom which has feces marks in the toilet, and dirty water still under the plastic tissue box holder. Everything seemed to be in order otherwise until I woke up at 7am, took my feet out from under the covers to find bugs crawling on my feet! I didn’t even know they were bed bugs until my boyfriend told me, since he has dealt with them as a teenager. I ended up having an allergic reaction to the bites on my legs, had red welts and had to take steroids. The hotel staff was so rude on check-in I left immediately and called hotels.com for a refund. Hotels.com contacted the hotel on my behalf and they refused to do anything about the issue! Shame on them!!
