My husband and I checked into the Hilton North Raleigh yesterday (7-28-16) for what was supposed to be a 3 night stay for a convention. In the middle of the night, I saw 5 or 6 bedbugs crawling on the bed. I have a bite on my abdomen. We cut our vacation short and came home. All the excitement of an enjoyable time off is gone. Totally gross experience.

1/11/24 02:30. I had woke up on 1/10/24 with a few bug bites and although it was winter I did not think much of it. On 1/11/24 I woke up at 02:30 and realized I had been bitten several more times I checked the bed and could not find any bugs. That morning I reported it to the front office and on 1/12/24 I was told that the room tested positive for bed bugs. Since the 12th (at the time of this writing on 1/22/24) The hotel has reimbursed my company for the stay, their insurance company replaced my laptop bag which had the zipper ripped out in the drier trying to make sure any bugs were killed, reimbursed me $30 for bed bug spray and itch cream, and reimbursed my company to have my company vehicle cleaned. Hilton has stated there is NOTHING they can do for me. So i had to deal with the bugs, cleaning all of my luggage and clothing, spraying my truck down, scheduling to have it cleaned, and I get nothing, but my fortune 500 company made out and had everything reimbursed. The General manager called me one day and said she would be in the office for 30 minutes and would try calling again. I called her back and left a voice mail and have not received a call back from her in 3 days. This Hotel's response AND Hilton's response to this has been terrible.
