Checked in April 9th. Room appeared to be clean. There was a dead spider, and cob webs though. Woke the morning of the 11th with several raised bites on my left arm, and left leg. All were red, itchy, and burning. Several of the bite areas had pus coming out. I initially thought it could be bed bugs, but searched the bed, and didn't find anything. I did notice a small blood smear on the sheet towards the end of the bed. There was also an older small blood drop stain inside a pillow. I chalked it up as mosquitoes or an allergic reaction. On April 12th I woke up with additional bites on the right side of my arm and shoulder. I still thought it was due to an allergic reaction. I laid on the opposite bed that hadn't been slept on yet. Woke up, and found a bed bug crawling. Placed the bug in a plastic bag. I pulled the headboard off of the bed I slept on previously, and took a video of what appeared to be a dead bed bug. I took pics and videos of my bite marks, along with the bed bug that's alive. Immediately notified the front desk, and the guy switched my room. I told him everything that happened, and gave him the bag with the live bed bug. He said he would notify the manager, and they would contact me. It's now 10:18AM, and no one has reached out to me. I have 25-30 bite areas, and several are infected, and oozing pus. I can't sleep, because I keep thinking I'm going to get attacked. I'm here for a conference and can't attend sessions now. I'm currently searching for a nearby urgent care for treatment. I have plenty of dated photos and videos to submit, if you need.
