8-13-19 / 8-14-19 I have stayed there previously and no mishaps until now I checked the mattresses and I didn't see anything the norm but me and my husband decided to sleep on the pullout sofa and I woke up because I thought I felt something and looked down to the mattress and seen a bed bug running toward my husband's back I immediately woke him up and we packed what little we had unpacked and went to the front desk because I took pictures and a video of the bugs and the did give us a refund but our piece of mind and thinking we brought them home are still on our minds

On February 23 2024 I checked in the Sun and Sands aka Dolphin Inn on 1705 Atlantic Avenue virgina beach. The check in process was smooth. The morning of Feb 24 I woke up to bites on my face and body & started to investigate & noted several bed bug in my sheets on under the sheets. The room was infested in bed bugs. I checked out immediately and requested a refund and was denied.
