On 6/23, 2022 Came to room at about 11 pm super exhausted woke up early around 7 am and as I’m getting ready to get my things together to get ready to head out for the day I look down and notice a bed bug crawling on the sheet towards my sleeping child. I grabbed the child and immediately grabbed a tissue and squeezing it after taking pictures as proof and the bug on a napkin. Immediately went to a front desk and informed them and asked for a new room since I still had a second night to stay. While waiting on the manager to arrive they sent a maintenance guy to inspect the room and gave me large trash bags for out belongings. After leaving he took the napkin with the smashed book and said he didn’t see any signs of bugs and that it’s possible just the one. Once the manager arrived who never spoke to me but approved a room switch and 5,000 points which I have no idea what they are for but per the clerks explanation can be used for perks at the hotel 5,000 points from the paper she handed me to explain what they are was equivalent to $10. They advised to leave clothing in the bags and that was it. A few hours later I discovered bites on my foot and leg. Hoping they don’t travel home with me.
