Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Our stay was June 27th-28th. In ROOM #302 I woke at around 4am to use the bathroom and was using the flashlight on my phone as to not wake my wife and child. I returned to bed and started to adjust my pillows when I saw a bedbug crawling. I tried to catch it with just the flashlight but had to turn on the light which woke my wife. She asked what I was doing and I said there is a bedbug Iâ€™m trying to catch. She then helped me put it in a container. I took pictures and was asked to leave it at the front desk, which I did. The hotel only wanted to give me a discount but I insisted on a full refund, which they did. Iâ€™m afraid this hotel might have been aware of the bedbugs and did not do enough to rid them. The mattresses only and NOT the box springs had bedbug covers.
