10/17/2019 at 12:14 AM!! BED BUGS!! Ewwww... So first off, let me say this was by far the worst place I've ever been to. I was there with my family & relatives. Got to my room just to notice a musty smell which was nasty, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was raining that day & figured it was "normal" since the rest of the rugs in the halls were stained and gross. Then I noticed some black dots and brown splotchy stains on my pillowcase & sheets. Figured it was just some stains they just couldn't get out. So the next morning to my surprise. I started seeing rashes on my daughters arm and legs. Never seen bedbugs in my life. I also noticed that certain rooms (Dad & Sisters Room) smell & look a lot cleaner and nicer than my own which was a bit bothersome. There was also the fact that THEY NEVER CLEANED OUR ROOM!! The bed was still left unattended with them stains still on them. Nothing was changed or vacuumed since dead bugs were still on the floor. So I decided to research the stains that were on the sheets and pillowcase. To my horror there it was. BED BUG STAINS!! I actually found the bed bugs too. Took video recordings and pics of the bed bugs. I also ended up with bed bug bites as well on my left arm. Also, when the front desk was notified later on. My dad showed the manager pics of it but they didn't believe me or my dad. Manager kept saying that they had bug control in their rooms and that they didn't have bed bugs and yet my dad and one of the ladies that works there saw a live bed bug on my bed. My dad said the lady flushed the live bed bug down the toilet before the manager came in. My dad also took pics of that live bed bug before she flushed it. So I don't know who they kidding. They give hotels such a bad rep. in general. This is just totally BAAAAAD for business. My older sister was bitten by a bed bug on the back as well & she was in the room right above my own. She said she felt and saw it crawling on her arm at 4 AM. She also complained to the front desk. They gave me and my sister new rooms and later on that day sometime after 8 AM they kicked us all out of the hotel accusing us for spreading bed bugs. They claim to be giving my dad a full refund for all 3 rooms since he booked all of our rooms, but only if we left that day ASAP. We'll see if they are people of their word. It seems they need a New-New Manager that actually knows how to KEEP THE LODGE UP TO DATE & ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS HAPPY!!
