Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Came back to room after 4th of July festival in Hannibal. My son was in bathtub and my wife and I were laying in 2nd bed and looked over to were my son would be sleeping and saw bugs crawling on white pillow. Checked it out and found it was a bed bug. Called front desk immediately and staff came up and by that time I caught one and put in cup of water. They wanted to put new sheets on and I told them I want my money back. Now we are stuck with a dry cleaning bill to kill any bed bugs that may have got in our clothes and the hotel manager tells me she won't do anything to help with bill and kept hanging up on me. I have stayed here before and will never again and hope people see this so they don't have this problem.
