Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed in this hotel the last week of December 2016. Did not have any clue about bedbugs. Thought I got bitten be an ant at first then saw multiple marks on my arms and legs within 3 days. On the fourth day I noticed a few blood spots on the white sheets. I thought, "gross they must not have washed the sheets from the last guest. My welts took 3 days or so to surface so it wasn't until I got back down to Florida that I put two and two together and figured it out. Management said it's been months and months and months since they've had any bedbug issues and they would send someone to the room to check it out. I was told I would get a call back and never did. Now, my daughter in Florida who went on vacation with me is starting to get bug bites in our home. Heaven help me.
