Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We stayed two nights at the travel lodge. Which is located across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa only to leave covered in bed bug bites. We've filed appropriate complaints with all parties interested. While still under investigation travel lodge management at the location is already denying accountability.

Stayed in the Travelodge on February 16th 2017 which was on a Thursday Friday morning woke up my son was complaining that he was itching I took your shirt off it was a bed bug on his back by him at the time later on that day he had after I examined he had so many bites. I had my sister call the office because the reservation was in her name they said all they can do was switch rooms.
