I stayed at the days inn from 3 /19/16 until 3/23/16 I was in room 209 the first night and was awaken at 3 am because I was being bitten on my face and hand! Got up washed and tried to get the itching stopped! I ask if myself and my roommate could be moved and the clerk moved us down stairs to 109 ! The manager saw us move on the cameras and ordered us back to 209 knowing I was being bitten. The next morning she moved us to 107. One of the desk clerks said it was because a man had cussed them out because he was bitten in 109 and had demanded the owner to sign a paper excepting responsibility! She refused! I layed down for nap after work in 107. I was bitten on my back and I got up and pulled back the cover ! Their was several bedbugs so I captured one and put in a cup with a lid! I took it Nicki , the owner and she said she didn't know anything about bedbugs, but moved us to 113. I contacted the health department Thursday the 23rd of March and he said well, some motels have bedbugs. I said well are you not suppose to force them to get rid of them? Isn't that the process the health department I'd suppose to begin once they get a report! He said only if they find one! I said well I left you one in a cup under the snack machine in the hallway so you could see for yourself! He chuckled and I was furious! I had been eaten up for days and he acted like it was no big deal. People pay to stay there and they should be made aware that will be taking bedbugs home with them and that they will be spending a small fortune to get rid of them. My face is welted and I'm bitten all over! Days inn is infested and I am not the first one to get bitten by bedbugs there! The man at the health department didn't even ask my name! I insisted that he take my name and number and follow up with me about the report ! Do not stay there!!!!!!!

Jan 7 2023. Came to grayson for a funeral. The inn had the best reviews online so I thought it would be OK to stay here. No. Absolutely not. Woke up in the middle of the night with bites on my hands. Checked the bed found several spots of blood where the bedbugs must have smashed. Also I've killed about 10 small ones I've saw crawling on the bed and pillows. The room is not very clean to begin with. The hotel has no elevator. Do not stay here.
