2 weeks stay but did not notice bites until second week. Wed 17th July 2019 woke up with bites on legs and arms but thought it was mosquitoes. Used insect repellent but woke up Thurs 18th July with more bites. Husband found dead bug on air conditioner unit which we confirmed was a bed bug. Went to duty manager who was very unhelpful as she claimed we had been there a week but hadn't reported it sooner. Did change our room and sent maintenance to check old room. They confirmed it was bed bugs. Manager only offered to tumble dry some of our clothes when we persevered about being worried we were transferring them to new room. In the evening we asked for an update on the situation but she asked us if pest control had been to the room and wasn't sure if they had been or not. Management never apologized at all. Virgin rep told us we should speak to manager on Friday when we got back in from being out all day. Spoke to same duty manager but she told us the manager had gone home and she would ring him if we wanted but made it seem an effort on her behalf. Never got to speak to him and no offer of apology when we checked out on Sat 20th July 2019.
