Settled in the room and was watching television and saw a bed bug crawl across a pillow on the bed. Informed front desk and they offered a new room. We declined and moved to a different hotel. They refunded the cost.

Checked into room and did a quick peel back of the sheets and a visual inspection to see a genuine bed bug making his way across the sheet to the side of the mattress. Promptly wheeled my bags back onthe front counter, told the desk staff and made my way to a different brand hotel nearby.

Stayed 1 night(July 24) on 5th floor with my two children. Bites showed up after I got home and just thought they were mosquito bites. I found them on the back of my leg behind my knee and on my other leg. They are horrid! I went to the doctor to get checked to make sure. I called the hotel and the manager said she would have a "chemical investigator" check into the room and get back to me.

We moved into our apartment April of 2010. 2 weeks later we started getting bites. we had bed bugs. After talking to one of our neighbors we found out they had them as well. They moved in June 2010 due to the immense bed bug infestation...

It is an ongoing problem. we have noticed that a lot of people from the complex are regularly throwing out furniture as well.

March 4th and 5th my family along with 2 other sets of family members stayed on the 3rd floor. Upon arriving home my daughter and I broke out with an allergic reaction caused by the bed bugs that we picked up at this motel. Currently we have had to treat 3 homes, multiple times due to this incident. The sad part is that I have tried to call them and they will not return any of my calls and we have also sent an email and still have not been contacted. Stay clear of this facility! What happened to customer service? I feel that we at least deserved an apology:(

On 02/18/11, Three people stayed in room #108 and received a total of 44 bed bug bites, which started appearing for the next two days. On 02/20/11, I called the hotel and spoke to the office manager. He informed me that bed bug bites do not show for seven days, he would have the room checked and I could call back on Monday to speak with the manager, Tim Johnson. Every time I tried to contact the hotel manager, Tim Johnson, he was always out and never returned my calls. Since our stay, I have seen other reviews from this hotel in which the manager would never return phone calls. I reported the Quality Inn to the BBB. Stay away from this hotel!

Got the room at no charge, checked for beg bugs before going to sleep but awoke to many bugs, stains, and bites. There were 3 generations of bugs with bugs even traveling through the vents. Rooms at opposite ends in the hotel had bugs.

Beware! Hotel staff worse than the BEDBUGS! A bug was killed in the room. Hotel staff asked to keep it. Manager not there and had to wait for her. After waiting 2 hrs, had to leave hotel. LaQuinta called and said rooms check out clean. (check by pest control) LaQuinta said bug was clover mite and nothing serious. Called pest control, they did NOT see the bug! (they said bug was bedbug, from pic I sent) Called LaQuinta, they said they had just showed they bug to coworker and not pest control! Then LaQuinta said that we NEVER did give them bug! What a lie! What's worse, the bedbugs or the LaQuinta staff?

My family — my parents, my sister’s family, my brother’s family, and my family-- stayed at La Quinta in Rapid City, South Dakota on October 23 & 24, 2010. We thought that everything looked fine until one day when my husband saw, caught, and killed a bed bug running up the mattress and onto my suitcase. We showed it to the motel’s manager and she claimed it was a clover mite. Upon looking it up on the internet, we discovered it was in fact a bed bug. We then looked for evidence of bed bugs on our 4 rooms and discovered evidence (bugs and blood dots on the mattress) in 2 of the rooms. The lady across the hall was complaining about a rash on her arms and we found that it was from bed bugs. The motel will admit it but on the third floor at least, there is evidence of bed bugs and bed bugs running around. I would not suggest staying here unless you want to drag them home and have an infestation at your own home.
