This wasn't just a few bites, This room is absolutely INFESTED!!!!
Counted at least 40+ bites! Some ran together in the classic row bite configuration.
Astoundingly! The Berkeley County SC. Dept. of Environmental Health does nothing about it! No inspections at all! They are not allowed to do inspections. Talked to a typical DO NOTHING employee Becky Allen. She said she would be glad to " send out a letter. " to notify them of the problem. But Bed Bugs aren't really a concern as they don't spread disease. I informed her that people shouldn't have to be chewed up when they stay at a motel and that they could end up taking bed bugs back to their own home. Becky Allen then tells me that people will just have to call an exterminator if that happens. Hmmm...I wonder if the Berkeley County Dept. of Environmental Health is willing to foot the bill for having your home exterminated because they don't want to do anything about it. She also says they are just a nuisance pest but because they do not spread disease they are not a serious health concern. I then told her that even making the phone call was useless then and that I was just wasting my time. I then told her to get back to getting another cup of coffee and doing nothing! Just more Government Waste! This is exactly why the problem exists in the first place! Due to an ineffective local Government that does absolutely NOTHING!
