We have often stayed with this chain because they are usually clean and economical. In this case we did have an uneasy feeling that it was not very well maintained. However after our second night we all had many of the distictive marks of bed bug bites. When I contacted the chain, I was told that I was wrong. Needless to say we have followed the recommended procedure with our clothes and luggage and will not be back to the chain!

Last night on 4/29 we got a room for 2 nights at the Clarion hotel Buffalo airport. When we were settling in for the night about 1:30am, my boyfriend noticed something crawling on my pillow. It was a bed bug. We killed it and took it to the front desk. The night shift worker denied that it was a bed bug even though I had a picture of one on my internet phone. He then proceeded to inspect the room where we found another bug he said was a beetle. It was a bed bug, he gave us another room and took 20 bucks off for the night. By this time its after 2am. I complained that it wsa indeed a beg bug, and the manager said I'm sorry honey what do want its a hotel. This is a crappy way to deal with such a situation. Since it was so late at night there was no way that I was going to get another room somewhere else. I will never stay here again.

Bitten with bed bugs at this location. I think the staff knew the room had them but still gave the room to us for the night. Appalling.
