My husband and I just returned from a one-night stay at the Virgin River Hotel in Mesquite Nevada. While asleep in our hotel room, my husband woke up to something biting him in his armpit. I turned on the light and sure enough, it was a bedbug. Upon tearing the the bedding off the bed and after careful inspection, we found several bedbugs. We called the front desk and they sent a security man out to inspect. He confirmed that the bugs were bedbugs. We were moved to a different room, but upon inspecting that room, sure enough there were bedbugs. I was disgusted. We asked for our room charges to be refunded but were told by the front desk that we had to contact the "risk control" department that unfortunately are only available Mon.-Fri. This was a Friday night. We still have not received a refund for our room and I am still totally disgusted.

Stayed at the Virgin River 24&25 Oct-2010. I have been itching since I left! I am covered in red bumps to the point I began to wonder if I had chicken pox! I also stayed there w my parents the 17th and 18th, and my mom said she is covered in itchy bumps! I am now canceling my next reservation, and won't even stay in Mesquite again!

Rooms #5219 & 5213 infested with bed bugs! Other rooms too I'm sure. Stayed for a week along with coworkers in an adjacent room. through out the week I was repeatedly bitten and had no idea what was doing it. My last day there I heard the news story about the bugs. I then tore apart my bed and was disgusted at the site of bed bugs. After reporting to the casino, I was not taken seriously. Could not even get an apology! I am infested with bites, sick, & very angry! Any other casino would have at least comped my room! Now seeking legal action.
