Spent Frid. night, June 17th, 2011, in room 103. Husband woke up Sat. morning with 50 bites. My bites didn't show up until Sun.. . We moved out of this Days Inn on Hotel Avenue as soon as husband's bites appeared. His back and arms were swollen, red, and very itchy. Found a live bug in room. MD confirmed that bites were caused by bed bugs. Have had good service for several years at 10321 Hotel Avenue, NE,, but we'll not return

I checked into this hotel on 6/15/2011 and was assigned room #125. I woke up sometime in the middle of the nite because right middle finger was burning and also bit on my right knee. I thought nothing of it and tried to go back to sleep. I woke up again at 5am and had been bit again on my left arm 3 times. I took off the sheets to see what it was that was biting me and seen that a small bug crawled back under a lip of the bed. I noticed small black stains on the head area of the matress. I took photos. I called front desk and all was told that I would need to let the manager know when he comes in at 715am.... Matress seemed to be old and stained....

We stayed at this hotel on Thursday April 28th 20011. On friday morning I noticed several bugs crawling across the sheets on my side of the bed. when i killed them there was fresh blood on the sheets. We reported the incident and were moved to another room down the hall later that day. the room was fumigated and we were only charged for two of the three nights we stayed. It is now monday and i am still dealing with the many itchy red bumps om my arms and chest.dbn

We moved in November 2009 and by December were covered in bites. They not only waited a full month to respond to our frequent calls, but then only treated our room. It was the man living below us who was infested and he didn't want them to spray, so we had to be treated THREE TIMES. We finally moved out in February and had to be extremely careful not to contaminate our new home. It was horrific and they office members were absolutely awful about it. Anyone who wants to stay away from these horrible little creatures, and the bed bugs too, should stay away from the Courtyard Apartments

It's awful! Stay away!! I was covered in bites a few months ago and am psychologically traumatized from this experience. They treated the apartment, but not the ones surrounding so now they are back!! The whole building is infested!!!

I live in the Tewa Lodge on Central and Alvarado. There is a severe bed bug infestation which is not being treated. My daycare (Alvarado Day School) has threatened to call CYFD to take my daughter who is 14 months old from me just because of these bites appearing on her. They claimed that bed bugs cause diseases and brain damage. PLEASE HELP US!!

BEDBUGS!!!!! Hey "Anonymous" I was there days before you and my family and I were covered in bed bugs. I noticed it a little after midnight but didn't know what they were at the time and was moved to another room. At that time the front desk told me that they would let me know in the morning, they didn't. I called and they told me that they would know that afternoon, again nothing. Thy were crawling on the walls outside in the hallway of our original room. I looked them up and identified them, I had to tell them. The next day the manager told me they would replace our luggage and detail our cars and clean everything to make sure there were no eggs or live ones that could be taken home with us. We were also given four free nights at the hotel and some zoo tickets. Our roller bags were replaced with Wal-Mart backpacks, the outside of my car was clean (the outside was not my concern) nothing done on the inside. Th fact that they replaced my stuff and didn't attend to the "bug issue" until two days later tells me that they did not respond properly to the infestation. This could have been prevented from happening to you ANONYMOUS!!! had the hotel done things right.

This hotel was full of the most repulsive drug tweekers in the city. We checked into the room and got bitten by bed bugs the first night we were there. We alerted the front desk person and he was not only rude, he didn't seem to care at all. He never offered for us to move rooms or anything so we left and stayed next door where the staff was much more friendly. Don't EVER stay there....They don't CARE..

We booked in advance and stayed at the Crossland Economy Studios in Albuquerque, NM for two months while our house was being finished. The hotel clerks as well as management were rude and uncaring. The rooms were absolutely filthy and extremely small. The internet connection was so horrible that most times you could not use it at all. There are two dirty burners and a tiny fridge in this cramped queen size room. The fridge did not work but they did replace it quickly. While we were there, some stranger from another room tried to break into our room for no apparent reason except he was drunk and/or stoned and acted like he was crazy. We called the desk clerk who said to call the police. The desk clerk sent the idiot hotel security guard who got the message from the desk clerk mixed up and thought my husband and I were the ones making the disturbance and told that to the police. The police showed up with SWAT who had rifles pointed at us. It took over an hour to straighten everything out with the police while we waited outside in the cold. The police arrested the stranger for numerous felonies that night and took him to jail. The hotel fired the security guard the next day and apologized, but this place is a nightmare! The laundry room was also broken into and the change boxes were crowbarred open and robbed while we were there. This all happened while their security guard was on duty and supposedly patrolling. Using a crowbar on those machines must have made a TON of noise but apparently no one including the security guard, saw or heard anything. We also found bedbugs towards the end of our stay. DO NOT STAY HERE! This place was filthy and dangerous because of the type of clientele they attract.
