June, 2011 I live in a 15 unit apartment building that is privately owned. I recently found a bed bug on my bed after having been bitten. I took it to the health department and an exterminator to confirm that it was indeed a bed bug. After the discovery, I found out that the neighbor who shares an adjoining wall with me had an infestation last year. He also disclosed that the neighbor who lives below him had them as well, and another neighbor on the first floor had them too. I spoke to the landlord and asked him why no one told me. His response was insulting; he responded by saying, "I didn't tell you I had a dyno air bicycle as a child." He also said in a different text, "have some decency and stop blaming others for your problems."
