Silverfish in tub and bedbugs room 2311 what a mess. You pay 400 a night. All they care about is money. Mickey you rat you should be running for the hills the way you made our stay not magical. Rather stay at motel 6. Work all year and it was ruined.

Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort
4600 N World Dr
Lake Buena Vista, FL
We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the 4th floor for only one night. Only my husband and I were affected. Somehow the 2nd bedroom with 2 queen beds must have been ok. I had no idea what was wrong with my husband and I until weeks after our visit! We had both been to the doctor with what looked like hives. When we finally saw several bugs after a horrible night itching! I know they had to have come from there, since that was the only hotel we've stayed in in months! When I called to tell them, they acted like I was trying to get them to pay for the exterminator, when all I was trying to do was make sure they checked the room thoroughly! People know to check their room EVERY time they stay in a hotel!!!!

Disney's Polynesian Resort
1600 Seven Seas Dr.
Lake Buena Vista, FL
I stayed at the Polynesian hotel in Disney from October 1-7. We were in Tahiti in room 1020. My husband and I both had bites on all parts of our body that was not covered while we slept. That includes hands, feet, arms, elbows, in between fingers, knees. When I put in a claim with Disney and they finally got back to me after over 2 weeks they told me that they had inspected the room and that the report came back clean. I asked for a copy of that report and they declined and told me that there was no way they would give out that information. The woman I spoke with also told me that Florida has mosquitos and other biting bugs and that my husband and I could have been allergic to something we ate or other bugs. Funny thing is that when we got home and cleaned all our suitcases and clothing, the bites went away after about a week.
I am absolutely appalled at how I was spoken to on the phone and treated by the staff in the claims department. When I told her that her decision to not give me the report of the room pretty much tells me that she was lying to me she said that I could send her pictures and a doctors report and she would look into it but that pretty much there was nothing she would do for me.
I want this to go as far as I can not only because I was bitten by bugs in my room, but also treated as though I was a complete idiot by the staff and that they brushed this off as mosquito bites. If you look at the pictures I sent you, they are not localized one bite marks, the bites are all over the body and in lines similar to how bed bugs bite--NOT mosquitoes.
I will not be traveling back to Disney and have spread the word to all my friends and family. I realize this is somewhat of an epidemic at this point in many hotels regardless of their status, but Disney should have compensated me in some way as far as I am concerned. We spent over $5000.00 on that trip and did not end up feeling "Magical," just extremely itchy and very angry.
