i woke up around 3am in the morning to wake up and see a bed bug on my pillow, right next to my head. we told the manger but he refused to do anything about it, he was very rude and delclined to move us to another room.. even know we had evidence of the bed bug, he would not give us a refund.. for anyone looking for a hotel i recommend that you not go to howard johnson, its invested with bedbugs,

i stayed one night at the intlet inn motel, and was biten about 10 times during the night, inlet inn is invested with bed bugs about in every room, i talked to people that stayed there before and they beleive that they were victims of bed bug bites,

At 4 a.m. I woke up, turned on the light, and saw about 10 bites on my shoulder, thumb, arm, wrist, head. We saw at least 5 bugs in my bed and several in my sons bed. When I told the manager, he was arrogant and very rude and would only switch us to another room. We chose to go to another hotel. I called Pest Control and had to have everything treated and washed, which Howard Johnsons would not reimburse me for anything.

I signed on for month of July 2011. Bed bugs showed up on July 5. Hotel ordered the room sprayed will bug spray--nothing else. 5 days later they came back. All mature ones. Hotel security & maids know they are there.

I've been here at the Inlet Inn for a week now and had to switch rooms. There are bed bugs in 209 and in 112, the room that I am currently in. I've tried to move again but they deny any evidence of the bugs in this room. They won't return any money and nothing is being done to ratify this situation. I haven't been able to sleep for more than an hour or two without waking and searching/killing bugs, each of which I've killed have blood in them. I've heard that more rooms are infested here. The condition of this hotel is below any standards that would classify this hotel as a dive at best. I've tried to search for a public office to report to without success.

They're spreading like wildfire! So far 3 out of 4 apartments in my building have been infested. This is a large apartment complex and the last I heard, 24 apartments have been treated. Couches are being dumped by various dumpsters that children are playing on! Luckily management is paying, since this is low income housing, many don't have the money to pay for this. What a nightmare!
